The Highworth Community Partnership Group (HCPG) was a voluntary organisation supported by Wiltshire Market Towns Partnership. Its purpose was to find out from the people of Highworth how they would like to improve the future quality of life for all and to put those ideas into a plan of action.

The Highworth Town Plan was launched on 9 July 2008.

Aims and Objectives:

The aim of the Group was to act as a consultative body to prepare a Local Community Strategy and Action Plan that helps to:

• Identify a clear vision for the future

• Bring together information on the area

• Identify the main goals the area needs to achieve

• Identify priority projects and actions
